Nestled in the heart of Balaclava, Glass Merchants combines eclectic, underground cool, rustic charm and grunge together with an industrial look making it a great place to relax with a some good food and a drink or two.

In a fitted out retro garage just off Carlisle St, Glass Merchants incorporates exposed brick with a tin roof to bring a nostalgic feel to the already relaxed feel. Teamed with neon signs and old school table top games, this venue is complimented further with distinctive street and pop art with Banksy art on display and a mural created by local street artist Marty Brazell.

Fueled by colour Glass Merchants is a former glass factory reinvented as a spacious eatery serving breakfast and lunch. The building was an industrial glazier factory for decades. And to honour its past, the Glass Merchants has incorporated a mirrored glass cube which is an ode to this establishment glazing history.

With Head Chef Munish Kumar at the helm, previously from Sails On the Bay, Blue Tongue Wine Bar and Turtle Café. Glass Merchants is sure to meet the culinary tastes of all its diners.
