We’ve got you covered this Valentine’s Day! Give the gift of an experience and elevate your senses at Pitch Black: Dining In The Dark! On 14th February, the experience is coming to Aunty Kims and promises diners a night to remember. You may wonder what the benefits are, but the absence of distractions promotes the idea that eating in the dark heightens diner’s senses making for a more pleasurable experience. The focus is instead on taste, smell, mouthfeel and sound, as well as promoting the art of conversation.

Diners will enter a warmly lit room, and will be accompanied by waiters and seated before being blindfolded and plunged into total darkness to enjoy this unique culinary experience. Soft romantic music and flickering candlelight will set the tone for the evening. 

There will be 3 available main dish options (meat, fish and vegetarian) and although the menu is secret (romance is all about surprises, remember?!), dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for. Diners will also be able to order their favourite drinks to accompany their food. The menu will focus on indulgent, rich foods which will spark fond memories, as food is seemingly symbolic of love when words are deemed inadequate (you know the real way to their heart!)

Each dining experience lasts 90 minutes. Tickets cost $99pp and include a decadent two-course meal and a drink on arrival.
