Hidden at the end of an inconspicuous alley lies one of Melbourne’s newest party hotspots, welcome to Ballers Clubhouse! Ballers is not your average bar stop, home to Table Tennis, Shuffleboard Tables, Shufflecourt & Cabana, Darts, Virtual Reality, Pool Tables, numerous bars and some tasty nosh.

So where do we begin? Ballers is for the big kid in all of us, with the simple idea of creating a fun time for you and your friends all the while testing your competitive nature with a drink and maybe taco in hand.

To say we had our fun is not giving Ballers enough credit. Trying our hand at everything, we had a ball (excuse the pun)! With so many games on offer it’s hard to know where to start, or even know how to play but don’t fret the friendly Ballers’ team is always on hand to show you the ropes.

We wanted to take on the best, so we challenged the house team! How’d we fare…? From Table Tennis, Darts (its digitised so you don’t have to worry about keeping score) and Shufflecourt, we got decimated… badly!

But you know what, it wasn’t all bad. We got to sip on a few beers and cocktails along the way to sooth the pain. Not to mention they have cocktails on tap, so you don’t have to wait around to get your serve when you want.

Now let’s talk about the food, after working up a sweat and destroying the competition – we wish, a little noshing was necessary! Perusing the Posh Nosh menu, we selected a feast of pizza, snacks, sliders, cheeses, tacos and more. There is something for everyone on this menu, the team have worked hard to take simple snack food and give it a lift! Our faves were definitely the tacos, beetroot dip and the Grow A Pear pizza, an unexpected treat of Creme fraîche, mozzarella, gorgonzola, pear, roquette & balsamic vinegar… a winner indeed!

Before we could leave, we had to try a little Virtual Reality and walk the plank… we won’t give too much away but this one will really test you, but if that’s not your thing they also have a host of other virtual delights that you can delve into.

Spread across two levels Ballers’ has plenty of space to feel like you’re not bumping shoulders with the people around but not so big that you feel like the Clubhouse is empty and the party is not in full swing!

Whether you come to play, drink or just eat Ballers Clubhouse will keep you entertained. Our advice, grab your besties, get a drink and a taco and play a few rounds at Ballers Clubhouse!
